The product Helpful Electronics has designed for the Young Enterprise Scheme in 2011 is called HELP, which is short for Helpful Electronic Locating Product. HELP is an in-store location device used to locate various objects within stores.
The product is touch screen and has an array of features. The software installed on the product could be easily adapted to a variety of different stores and situations.
Just a few examples where HELP could be implemented are: department stores, supermarkets, sports stores or larger scale situations such as whole shopping centres. HELP would solve a problem that many consumers around New Zealand face every day - knowing what product it is that they want to buy but not being able to locate it within the store.
